*トクラ Tukrah [#w4e89c4a]
-ベンガジの北東約70kmにある塁壁に囲まれ海辺の遺跡。~
-かつてここにギリシア人が建設した町があり、ベンガジやキュレーネ、アポロニアなどとともにペンタポリス（5つのギリシャ植民都市）のひとつとして数えられている。~
ビザンティン帝国時代のものを中心に建造物の跡が残っている。~
-遺構の土中からはギリシアの陶器が発見されており、古くから海を越えた交流が盛んであったことを物語っている。~
-この地域には、紀元前500年頃にギリシア人が入植したと言われている。~
-エジプトのプトレマイオス朝時代に港が建設され、周辺の農産物などの輸出港として栄えた。~
-4世紀の大地震で街は崩壊。そのため、教会や住居跡など、見られる遺跡のほとんどがビザンティン帝国時代のもの。~
-海辺にある砦はオスマントルコの支配になってから建造されたものだ。kj~
