港には貿易品とともにアメリカのジャズなど音楽文化も入ってきた。~
-港の歴史はアルバート・ドッグにある巨大な博物館マージーサイド海事博物館Merseyside Maritime Museumで紹介されている。~
-リバプールは、２つの大聖堂がある街としても有名である。~
-イギリス国教会の伝統的な建物のリバプール大聖堂 Liverpool Cathedral は国内最大規模で、エレベーターで塔を上がることができる。~
-また、1960年代に建てられたローマン・カトリックのメトロポリタン大聖堂Metropolitan Cathedralは、斬新なデザインの建物で、鮮やかな色ガラスを使った聖堂内がユニークだ。~

-ビートルズの４人が生まれた家や住んだ家のほとんどは、現在全く関係ない個人が住んでいるため、入ることができない。~
-彼らが歌っていたキャバーン・クラブはすでにないが、キャバーン・ウォークス Cavern Walks としてビートルズ一色のショッピング・センターが完成した。~
この中に造られた新しいザ・キャバーン・クラブ The Cavern Club は、ビートルズが出演していた元の建物のレンガを利用して建てられたもの。~
1960年代の雰囲気をそのまま残していて、日・木曜を除く毎晩、ライブ音楽とディスコが楽しめる。~
-また、再開発された港アルバート・ドッグに建てられた博物館ザ・ビートルズ・ストーリー The Beatles Story では、再現したキャバーン・クラブで、ライブの代わりにフィルムを使いステージの模様を流している。~
-メンバーが育った家々や、ストロベリー・フィールズ、ペニーレイン、キャバーン・クラブのあるマシュー・ストリートなど、ビートルズゆかりの場所を効率よく巡るなら、マジカル・ミステリー・ツアーのバスツアー利用が便利。~
チケットは、リバプールの観光案内所またはザ・ビートルズ・ストーリーにて購入可能。~
